After pulling the radiator out of the unit, our technician will drain the coolant and examine the radiator onsite. As part of our radiator recoring service, the technician builds and installs new cores and new bolt kits, then cleans and preps the tank -- or replaces it, if needed -- before reinstalling all parts for a test run to ensure the recoring was successful.
On a generator, coolant can quickly deteriorate since most generators sit idle until there is an emergency. The particles that break down from the motor can damage your generator, so a coolant service and full system flush should be part of your generator maintenance at least every two years.
